NBLCA’s 30th Year Anniversary Finale Gospel Extravaganza

logo_NBLCAThis is an exciting time for the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS, Inc., (NBLCA) as we conclude our 2017 – 2018, 30th Year Anniversary. On October 25, 2018, as a Finale to this historic year, NBLCA will host its signature Gospel Extravaganza at the famed Marian Anderson Theater, Aaron Davis Hall, City College, New York City. This event is NBLCA’s preeminent fundraiser for the year.

Performing live will be Richard Smallwood, Legendary Grammy nominated, Stellar, Dove award winning songwriter and musician and one of the most popular worldwide inspirational artists today with classic tunes such as “Total Praise”, “Center of My Joy”, and “I love The Lord”; and JJ Hairston and Youthful Praises, 2018 Grammy Nominee for Best Gospel Performance Song, “You Deserve It”, and named #1 in 2017 on four charts by Billboard Magazine. Our remarkable honorees, for the NBLCA’s “Choose Life” Awards, will include Amida Care, Doug Wirth, CEO and Convent Avenue Baptist Church – Healing Hope Ministry.

Your support will assist NBLCA in continuing its ongoing programs to reach at-risk populations and decrease the risk of new infections in alignment with goals of the national efforts to Ending the Epidemic.

HIV/AIDS continue to disproportionately impact communities of color, women, transgender people, young people, gay and bisexual men. While significant progress has been made in  prevention and treatment, there is still work to do and we need  your support.
